The two Coolpix P series cameras have been introduced to the market in early 2015. Nikon had set a steep price for both models initially, hoping to sell them at around $500 each. After some consideration over popularity and sales, the less popular model (P610) is currently in the $400 price range while the more appealing P900 keeps the intended price. Even though both these models look similar, the sturdier and larger P900 weighs as much as 900 grams, which is 334 grams more than P610. They’re bridge (SLR-like) cameras with good resolution screens (921 pixels), admirable optical stabilization and wireless connectivity.
